This course has been designed especially for people who spend a large amount of time at their desks and may be experiencing discomfort in their bodies. Each video is five to ten minutes long, focusing on a certain area of the body. There are five videos, with the idea of doing one video per day over the working week. My hope is that over time the movements will become so familiar that you will start doing the movement as and when your body may be asking for a quick stretch or activation during your time at your desk. You will also discover how your breath can help influence your body, engaging core muscles as well as helping to soften and release tension.The first video focuses on the feet up to the pelvis. The second video focuses on the abdominals and area around the ribcage, the third video focuses on the chest area and shoulder blades, the fourth video focuses on the area of the shoulders and the fifth video on the neck, face and head area. I hope that you enjoy the videos and find them useful, short practices can lead to large changes! No need to get changed or move away from your desk, all you need is a chair!
This short course is for those busy at their desks who experience niggling aches and pains and could benefit from a few simple stretches and movements to decrease tension.
